New York, especially Brooklyn, is known for birthing some of the best rappers in the music industry. Up and coming rapper Sha-Mc-Fly (Sharif Keenan) from Sheepshead bay in Brooklyn is trying to help Brooklyn keep its title of "Home of The Greatest". "We come from the Mecca of rap so we gotta show and prove ourselves. I feel like I have to bring my city back to its natural state with all this down south music going on and Chicago and California making a name, my city needs shine again," says Sha-Mc-Fly. He has performed at a few local venues and created a few tracks of lyrical high tempo music for a wide range of audiences. Sha-Mc-Fly started rapping at the age of 18 and is now 24. He doesn't plan to stop here, he wants to be the cat who brought his city back to greatness. INSTAGRAM : @Sha_mc_fly
